Project Management - Contract Management
Safe Rail carries out project management of your projects and provides assistance in your contract management projects

Safe Rail is able to provide either Contract Management or complete Project Management of medium-sized projects. Safe Rail effectively has the skills required for preliminary studies and project feasibility studies, project costing, production of specifications, management of suppliers, leading and co-ordinating both technical studies and the works, participation in commissioning and management of planning and of the budget.
Safe Rail carries out its project management projects in accordance with the Order of the 21st of December 1993.
Project management assistance comprises technical assistance and provides the Customer with :
• Status of the technical advancement of the project, component by component;
• Proposals for improvements and for corrective actions or actions that can be anticipated as the project advances;
• The expertise required by the Customer.

Basic Design – Detailed Design
Basic of Railway Signalling

Safe Rail is able to carry out your basic and detailed design for conventional signalling and ATCs (Automatic Train Control). During these studies, the Safe Rail experts carry out functional analysis of the system and its specifications, its architecture and the signalling principles. They also supply the operation program, signalling diagrams, routes list, technical plans and the technical specifications of the equipment.

Verification & Validation
Through its Railway experts, Safe Rail is able to supply a Verification & Validation service for your high-quality products and tests

A signalling project follows a V cycle in which the highest risk in a project is that the errors or modifications made at the start of the project are only discovered at the end of it.
This fact underlines the importance of verifying the product documents in any given phase of the project before starting the next phase.
Safe Rail is able to verify the following signalling documentation : technical specifications, operation program (signalling diagrams, route list, operation instructions), general functional analysis, system architecture, detailed functional analysis (technical plan) electrical diagrams, function specification of the software, detailed diagrams, test plan, factory test specs, site test specs…

Maintenance and Works
Safe Rail manages the maintenance and the construction of your Railway Signalling installations

Safe Rail is able to provide an installation service and/or a preventative and corrective maintenance service. As the installation work is carried out, Safe Rail takes over responsibility for equipment supplies, electrical logging, the work involved in making the site secure, and ensures that the installation work is carried out in conformance with good engineering practice and planning.
Within maintenance, Safe Rail’s service includes providing a technical assistant for writing maintenance procedures for the signalling installations, for carrying out preventative or corrective maintenance, and for carrying out functional non-regression tests. Safe Rail can also provide call-out cover for certain equipment.
